2016 is the 31st running of the Australian International Pedal Prix and the 20th 24 hour event in Murray Bridge.
This race is the final Round of the UniSA Australian HPV Super Series and is regarded as the premier HPV endurance race in Australia.
The race is conducted on a 2.06 kilometre circuit around Sturt Reserve situated on the banks of the Murray River.
200 teams, 3,200 competitors and thousands of spectators make Sturt Reserve their home for three days in September.
36 Houseboat moorings immediately adjacent to the track provide an alternative for those not inclined to camping with ample space inside the fully fenced reserve for teams to establish camp.
Known to many South Australians as the Pedal Prix, the annual series of events is designed to develop competitors' teamwork, technological and engineering skills, enterprise and fitness and health.
The UniSA Australian HPV Super Series involves more than 500 teams and draws up to 35,000 spectators to the Murray Bridge 24-hour endurance race.
