The Henschke family has been making wine since 1868. Continuity has been a key to their success, but this is matched by a passionate commitment to embracing the benefits of new techniques in the vineyard and the winery.

Today Henschke is recognised around the world for their innovative methods, their dedication to environmentally sustainable practices, and their production of exceptional wines from outstanding vineyards.

Fifth-generation winemaker Stephen and his viticulturist wife Prue have recently welcomed children Johann and Justine to the family business. Together they continue to craft wines with a focus on purity and terroir, through careful management of their own vineyards and by sourcing additional fruit from growers of excellence in the Eden Valley, Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills regions to complement a strong portfolio that focuses on ultra-premium single-vineyard wines.

Henschke has a small cellar door catering for a limited number of visitors. Larger groups are asked to please phone prior to arrival. Note: closed Sundays, Good Friday, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
