Suitable for horse riding, cycling and walking, the Kidman Trail spans across 5 regions over the 269km trek. Adventure on roadsides, forest tracks, private land and unmade road reserves. All trail adventurers can find shelters, camp grounds, picnic area, toilets and parking spaces along the trail. Starting at Willunga (South of Adelaide) the trail will take trekkers east of Adelaide through the farming settlement areas of the Murray River, Lakes and Coorong region and finish at Kapunda (in the Barossa).
For those horse riding or walking, it is expected to take 1.2 weeks to complete, cyclists are expected to take 5 day.
