A brief trek to the picturesque Mannum waterfalls will reward the adventurous, particularly in the winter months when the falls are flowing!
Just a 5-minute drive from the township of Mannum, the spectacular terrain features rock pools, wildlife, interesting rock formations and amazing views as you make your way to the top of the falls. Locals recommend parking at the lower carpark, following the walking trail along the creek, and turning around near the upper car park. The first pools are 250 metres from the lower car park. The first waterfalls are one kilometre from the lower car park.
The waterfalls are fed from the Adelaide foothills into Reedy Creek and provide some fantastic scenery to be explored by those looking for a leisurely stroll or a moderate hike.
Hats, sunscreen and good walking shoes are a must and don’t forget your camera!
It’s also a great picnic spot so stock up on some sumptuous local produce, bring your picnic basket and enjoy a well-deserved feast after your exploration!
