Under October’s full moon and a blanket of stars, sit by the Murray River and be serenaded by the sounds of piano music performed by Emma Knights.
The lovely Long Island Reserve, Murray Bridge is the perfect space for a concert under the full moon due to the area’s lower light pollution and its proximity to the river. Bring your picnic rug or chair, although this isn’t a typical sit-and-watch concert. Lay back, rest, and let the music wash over you as you take in the sights and sounds of the night sky. Arrive early to set yourself up before it gets dark, lights will be provided to pack up. The concert will run from approximately 7.30 pm for an hour, taking in the sunset and allowing time to bathe under the moon.
The concert will include all your favourite Nocturnes and songs about the moon.
Tickets will be by donation. Even if your donation is zero, please book a ticket so we know how many to expect! You are also able to donate if you cannot attend but wish to support the event.
