River Wrens are small, but stable houseboats reminiscent of the traditional riverboat style.
This is a unique experience of floating, self contained accommodation. This boat remains moored during your stay, so you can experience being on the water and all the fun of a houseboat holiday, but without having to ‘learn the ropes’ or negotiate who is doing the driving.
Ideal for couples and small families, River Wren houseboats have an open plan design (no separate bedrooms), catering for up to four people (two double beds, two single beds).
Sit back, relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. Or if you want to be more active you can enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming tennis, walking or bring your own boat. With access to your car you can also visit the many surrounding attractions.
“Pet friendly” – your pet is welcome to join you on your houseboat holiday. Just bring their bedding, leash, food, and food and water containers
All linen, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided – all you need to bring is your food, drinks, clothing and personal effects.
The outdoor deck area at the rear of the boat is a great place to watch sunsets and river birds or throw a snag on the barbie.
