SA Kick It: ProVelo Super League – The Bend Road Race

The ProVelo Super League returns to South Australia to ignite the 26th edition of the Santos Tour Down Under! Building on the success of its debut season, the PSL SA Kick It will once again thrill the crowds with a dynamic three-stage, three-day format.

The final stage of SA Kick It will see teams and riders head south-east of Adelaide to The Bend Motor sport Park at Tailem Bend, the world’s second longest permanent racetrack in the world. With high summer Adelaide temperatures expected, this will be a tough final stage for PSL teams and riders. The Bend spans a fast and flat 7.8km circuit where our Women’s will complete 12 laps (93.6km) and our Men’s will complete 15 (117kms). This will span hours of thrilling racing to finish off the first round of the ProVelo Super League. The venue comes with various viewing points and food & beverage options for fans.

The ProVelo Super League (PSL) is an elite road cycling league hosted annually across Australia with teams and athletes competing in a points format. The PSL features an elite women’s and men’s division with a target of 30 teams anticipated to compete in Season 2 of the PSL. Hosted January to March, the PSL has established a vital pathway for athletes looking to pursue the ‘Road to the World Tour’.
