If it’s not enough to sit in the grandstand, then put on a helmet and race into life in the fast lane. The Bend’s driver experiences offer you the chance to race, kart, drift, rally, and offroad – ideal for motor enthusiasts of any kind.

Get your blood pumping with a Hot Lap, where you’ll soar through the world-class track like the pros. Make your dreams come true and race in either a V8 Mustang, Holden Race Car, Formula 3 open wheel race car, Porsche GT3 Cup Car, and more…

For something a little more recreational, but still adrenaline spiking, take a punt at The Bend Kartdrome. You’ll reach speeds of 70km/h and test out their range of international-grade circuits.

Not a confident driver? No worries. The Bend is launching a driver training program in 2023 where trained professionals will run you through safe driving practices, featuring both classroom learning and practical applications.

Explore the region

Our region is full of adventure, so wander out to the Coorong National Park. It’s the perfect spot to go off-road with your 4×4, cast a line, head off on a scenic walking trail, or go birdwatching or kayaking.

On your way over, make sure to stop in at the picturesque town of Meningie, where you can explore the lakefront reserve inhabited with pelicans and swans. Stand back and take in the beauty from the jetty.

If the kids are in tow, make a beeline for the Storm Boy -hemed nature play area, and don’t forget to visit the “Birdman of the Coorong”, the statue built to recognise the infamous bushranger that trekked the Coorong on an ostrich. You can hop on for a fun photo.

If you’d rather sit back and relax, let Spirit of the Coorong take you on a 2-hour, 3.5 hour, and 6-hour cruise from Goolwa into the Murray Mouth and Coorong lagoons.

There’s so much to see and do on your next visit!
