For smaller, intimate occasions of 15-40 people, the River Room is perfect for sit down occasions.
This indoor space has a flatscreen TV and HDMI access that allows for great presentations and media. Plus, the floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to brighten up the space and let in the river views.
A popular space with an alfresco set up and impressive river views. While you have close access to the main bar and lounge, the Terrace maintains an exclusive feel when booked out for up to 100 attendees, or cocktail receptions for up to 120.
Not only is it a great spot for the summertime, but the addition of wall heaters and blinds means it can be used during the cooler months.
If you’re looking to host 60-80 people, the Charles Sturt Room is for you. This space is highly sought after for birthdays, and is also favourable among social clubs looking for an ideal spot to hold presentation nights.
Entertaining is a breeze with an in-built stage with speakers and a screen, private bar, buffet area and toilets, and the dedicated band room. There’s even a touchscreen feature on the wall which allows guests to queue up their favourite songs using CrowdDJ technology.
An extension of the Charles Sturt Room is the Board Room – and as the name suggests, this break out space is designed for conference, meetings and workshops for 14-18 delegates. As you work through your agenda, a range of catering options can be served including morning and afternoon tea and light lunches.
Saving the best for last. A walk up the Bridgeport stairs will land you in the Murray Room – the Bridgeport’s largest event space.
Here you can host 200 seated guests and up to 300 for cocktail receptions. This room is excellent for engagements, wedding receptions and larger corporate events, with the inside space extending out to the exclusive balcony which offers stunning views across the riverfront and makes you feel like you’re sitting on top of the twin bridges.
Inside you’ll also have access to a stage, dancefloor and private bar so you can amp up the atmosphere for your guests.
The Bridgeport’s new wedding packages take the stress away from lovebirds waiting to tie the knot.
Make the most of their picture-perfect river backdrop and hold your ceremony on the Sturt Reserve Wharf surrounded by lush gardens, or perched up on the Roundhouse. The Bridgeport’s central position makes it accessible and convenient to arrive from your ceremony location, and because it’s indoors, you can hold your reception here at any time of the year.
Ask the team about a site inspection and see how the Bridgeport’s space can be refined to suit your wedding style.
The Bridgeport’s wide range of catering options will have you and your guests salivating. You can work with their team to put on the spread of your dreams with a group dining menu (a premium refinement of their regular dining menu) and share platters.
The diligent staff will wait on you all night, ensuring your experience is just as you imagined.
Adding live music to a function elevates the experience for guests and hosts alike. The Bridgeport’s friendly team make this process simple by helping you organise talent. There are many local talents in the region who often play live sets at the Bridgeport, otherwise the team can help you lock in a particular performer you’ve had your eye on.
Forget about having to organise a taxi, bus or a designated driver, make your event seamless by booking accommodation at the Bridgeport. The Riverside Balcony Suite is our hot pick, with its private balcony looking over the river and iconic twin bridges.
Start the next morning with breakfast and coffee on the terrace and refuel from the night before. If you’re not in a rush, explore the region further.
Discover our local wine region
The wine menu has many local drops from our nearby Langhorne Creek Wine Region. If there’s one you enjoyed, make the 20-minute trip out and visit Lake Breeze, Bleasdale Vineyards, Bremerton Wines, Kimbolton Wines, Vineyard Road or The Winehouse, for a day out among the vines exploring the region through tasting flights and regional platters.
Get your heart racing at The Bend
For the adrenaline fanatics, The Bend Motorsport Park’s world-class track provides a wide range of fast-paced fun that will knock your socks off. And in July, the OTR SuperSprint returns over three huge days (check out the event calendar for more).
Take a walk on the wild side
Experience the wild side with a quick trip to Monarto Safari Park. Explore the new Visitor Centre and café before getting up close to lions, giraffes, meerkats, rhinos and much more with an exciting range of animal experiences. For a slower-paced afternoon, wander around the surrounding walking trails and take in the views across the plains.
