ON THE RIVER
A houseboat hire holiday is kind of like a camping trip but with all the mod cons and conveniences there when you need them. Houseboats are surprisingly easy to navigate and with only a driver’s licence, you can become a river captain. Perfect for families and friends, houseboat hire allows you to choose to explore an isolated section of the river, or moor at a town and grab a great steak in a local pub. If that doesn’t float your boat, how about a cruise on one of the Murray’s majestic paddle steamers? The crew takes care of everything for you, so all you have to do is enjoy the meals, the wine and the views.
